SECAST
The Snoqualmie Emergency Communications and Support Team (SECAST) is a highly mobile and motivated team of volunteers with diverse skills and capabilities. It provides timely and quality support services to the command structure of Snoqualmie emergency operations center (EOC) or mobile incident operations support. The mission of the team is to protect property and lives, and serve the people of Snoqualmie by making those operations as efficient and effective as possible through radio communications.
When: 7:00PM, Fourth Wednesday of each month
Where: Snoqualmie Firestation (Lower level). (Zoom as a backup)
Joining SECAST is completely free and anyone who wants to help out at the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) during disasters, emergencies, or community disaster preparedness training is welcome to join.
If you want to become a voting member and actively participate in emergency operations, you'll need to fill out a volunteer application and submit to a City of Snoqualmie criminal background check.
Start by downloading, printing and filling out the SECAST Volunteer Application. Drop it off at the Snoqualmie Firestation first floor entrance.
In addition, to become part of our leadership team, you must complete these courses and email the completion certificates to SECAST Membership:
