Snoqualmie Emergency Management: The Office of Emergency Management keeps residents, businesses, and visitors safe with county and City Emergency Alerts, a comprehensive emergency plan, and resources for floods and winter storms. In addition, the office participates in a Hazard Mitigation Plan with King County and other neighboring local governments. Some areas in Snoqualmie are designated special flood hazard areas, therefore, the City of Snoqualmie participates in a program called National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) which provides flood insurance protection to property owners in flood-prone areas.
Snoqualmie Community Emergency Response Team (CERT): Learn how to save lives, protect property, and operate safely in post-disaster environments with emergency response training offered by the City of Snoqualmie. The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program is open to all Snoqualmie Valley residents. It is a hands-on course that will train you to help your family and neighbors during local and regional emergencies such as earthquakes and floods.
Snoqualmie Volunteer Firefighters/EMT: The Snoqualmie Fire Department accepts applications for those interesting in volunteering as a firefighter or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).
King County Search and Rescue: The King County Search and Rescue Association (KCSARA) exists to promote cooperation between its Member Units, to represent and be their unified voice and to advocate for matters that affect or require the support of multiple Units.
